Kuwaiti Defense Ministry Reports Two Deaths and 67 Injuries in Armed Forces Amid Ongoing Operations

Kuwait city: The Kuwait Ministry of Defense has announced that since the commencement of attacks targeting the nation's airspace, the Armed Forces have detected and intercepted 212 ballistic missiles and 394 drones within the operational area.

According to Qatar News Agency, the first media briefing from the Government Communication Center was held, during which Colonel Saud Al Atwan, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, reported that the attacks involved ballistic missiles and drones targeting Kuwaiti territory. These attacks impacted civilian facilities, infrastructure, vital installations, and residential areas, leading to the deaths of two armed forces personnel and a child, along with several injuries and material damage.

Al Atwan provided details on the injuries sustained by armed forces personnel, stating that 67 individuals have been injured since the operations began. All injured personnel have received necessary medical care and are in stable condition, with two cases remaining under medical observation.

He also confirmed that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces are maintaining the highest state of readiness, with continuous monitoring of all field developments. This is being done in full coordination with military and security authorities and other state institutions, as part of an integrated national system aimed at safeguarding the country's security and the safety of its citizens and residents.
