Kuwait: Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Sunday that a plane made a safe landing at Kuwait International Airport after a hoax bomb threat.
According to Qatar News Agency, DGCA’s Spokesman Abdullah Al-Rajhi stated in a press release that while the plane was en route to Kuwait on its scheduled flight, a bomb threat was reported. The report was handled immediately in accordance with security procedures and protocols at Kuwait International Airport.
Al-Rajhi further mentioned that in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and other relevant authorities, the aircraft landed safely. Security plans were implemented effectively, and all passengers disembarked without incident.
He assured that all passengers are safe and confirmed that the airport’s scheduled flights have continued without disruptions.
