Doha: The Lawyers Admission Committee convened at its permanent seat in the Ministry of Justice building, chaired by HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi. The meeting on Thursday focused on various agenda items, including the swearing-in of new lawyers.
According to Qatar News Agency, the committee witnessed four new lawyers taking their legal oath after completing the required training period. In addition to the oaths, the committee evaluated applications for the registration of several employers on the rolls of practicing lawyers.
The committee approved applications from fourteen lawyers under training, signifying an important step in their professional journeys. Furthermore, the meeting addressed regulatory issues pertaining to the legal profession, reviewing the minutes of subcommittees and making decisions to enhance the regulatory framework for legal practice.
