The UAE has donated both medicines and medical supplies to the Hope Restoration Hospital in Rumah District in the Hadramaut, as part of its support of the health sector in Yemen.
Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, Representative in Hadramaut, stated that the medical supplies will help ease the suffering of Yemenis and enable the hospital to provide free medical services.
He also pointed out that the ERC is intensifying its humanitarian work in Hadramaut Governorate by offering additional humanitarian, food and therapeutic aid, to help local people face their deteriorating humanitarian and economic conditions.
This week, the ERC signed two agreements to restore Al Shahr General Hospital and the Blood Bank Centre at Ibn Sina Hospital on the Hadramaut Coast.
