Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Thursday is expected to be hazy at places initially, transitioning to moderate temperatures to relatively hot during the day and mild by night, as detailed by the Department of Meteorology in its daily weather report.
According to Qatar News Agency, the offshore weather will remain fine, with a warning issued for strong winds and high seas expected to the north by noon. Inshore winds will be northwesterly, blowing at speeds between 06 – 16 KT, with gusts reaching up to 23 KT during the daytime. Offshore winds are expected to maintain a northwesterly direction as well, with speeds of 06 – 16 KT, increasing to 23 KT to the north by the afternoon.
The sea state inshore is anticipated to be between 2 – 3 feet, occasionally rising to 4 feet, while offshore conditions will range from 3 – 3 feet, increasing to 7 feet to the north by midday. Visibility inshore is projected to be between 4 – 8 km, whereas offshore visibility will range from 5 – 10 km.

details on tidal patterns across various locations. Doha is expected to experience high tides at 08:18 and 18:15, with low tides at 00:09. Mesaieed and Wakrah both anticipate similar tidal movements, with high tides around 10:04 and 09:18, respectively. Other areas such as Al Khor, Ruwais, Dukhan, and Abu Samra have their specific tidal times, contributing to the overall forecast for the day. Sunrise is expected at 05:45 LT and sunset at 16:49 LT.
