Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Wednesday will be hot to very hot daytime with blowing dust and some clouds at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected strong wind daytime. Offshore, it will see slight dust and some clouds at times, the report added, warning of expected strong wind and high sea to the north.

According to Qatar News Agency, the wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 10 – 20 KT, gusting to 30 KT during the day. Offshore, the wind will also be northwesterly at a speed of 6 – 16 KT, gusting to 32 KT to the north. The sea state inshore will be 1 – 3 ft, rising to 4 ft at times, while offshore it will be 2 – 4 ft, rising to 7 ft to the north. Visibility inshore is expected to be between 5 – 9 km, dropping to 3 km or less during the daytime, whereas offshore visibility will range between 4 – 10 km.

The Department of Meteorology advises residents and maritime operators to take necessary precautions due to the forecasted weather conditions, particularly concerning strong winds and high seas, which could affect visibility and sea travel safety.
