Abidjan: HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Diaspora of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire Kacou Houadja Leon recently held a meeting with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire Mubarak bin Hussein Al Marri. The meeting resulted in a significant agreement that grants Qatar Charity certain privileges to enhance its humanitarian and development initiatives within Cote d’Ivoire. This collaboration will involve partnership with local authorities and institutions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement aims to facilitate and expand Qatar Charity’s efforts in addressing various developmental challenges in the country. The signing of the agreement marks a step towards strengthening bilateral relations between Cote d’Ivoire and the State of Qatar.
The meeting witnessed the presence of HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cote d’Ivoire Yapi Koffi Evariste, who emphasized the importance of the agreement in fostering cooperation between the two
nations. Also present was the Director of Qatar Charity’s office in Abidjan, Reda Mabrouk, who expressed optimism about the potential impact of the collaboration on local communities.
The agreement is part of broader efforts by Qatar to engage in international humanitarian initiatives, reflecting its commitment to supporting global development through strategic partnerships.
