Geneva: HE Minister of Labour Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri met on Monday with HE Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Gilbert Houngbo, on the sidelines of the Global Fair Recruitment Initiative Conference in Geneva. The meeting discussed the progress of the ongoing technical cooperation between Qatar and the ILO, with both sides highlighting key achievements and discussing prospects for deepening institutional collaboration in the period ahead.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on evaluating the advancements made through the existing collaboration between Qatar and the ILO. The ministers emphasized the importance of continued joint efforts to enhance labor standards and recruitment processes. They also explored avenues for further cooperation to strengthen institutional ties and ensure the success of future initiatives.
