Doha: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met with HE Head of the Office of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, Alexey Ghazaryan. The meeting took place as Qatar hosted 19 Russian and Ukrainian families in Doha to provide them with comprehensive healthcare and support.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions highlighted Qatar’s latest efforts in reuniting Russian children with their families, as part of its ongoing mediation efforts aimed at resolving the family separations caused by the Russian-Ukrainian crisis. Dr. Al Khulaifi reiterated Qatar’s dedication to its role in mediating and facilitating the reunion of children with their families.
