Doha: He Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad chaired a high-level session titled “Justice and Humanity in War: The Global Initiative for Humanitarian Law” on the sidelines of the 23rd iteration of the Doha Forum 2025. The session focused on the critical importance of upholding humanitarian principles during conflicts.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session featured participation from HE Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Pierre KraHenbuhl, along with several ministers and officials. The Minister of State for International Cooperation emphasized the necessity of respecting international humanitarian law and its implementation, especially in conflict and war zones.
