Ministry of Immigration and Displacement: 487 Displaced Yazidis Return To Their Areas In Sinjar

Baghdad, The Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabru, announced the return of (487) displaced Yazidis to their original residential areas in Sinjar district.

The Minister said in a statement: “The displaced people returned voluntarily from Sharia camp in Dohuk Governorate to their original residential areas in Sinjar District and its affiliated districts and villages in Nineveh Governorate, in coordination with the Ministry’s branch in the governorate, the security forces, the two local governments in the two governorates, and the Joint Operations Command.”

Jabro stated: “The coming days will witness another voluntary return of the displaced from Dohuk camps to their areas in Sinjar.”
