The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and Head of the Union of Arab Journalists, Moayad Al-Lami, condoled the death of the great poet Karim Al-Iraqi.

Al-Lami said in a tweet today, “Farewell to the authentic Iraqi and the great creative poet, Karim Al-Iraqi. With his death, we have lost an irreplaceable poetic stature. Go to the gardens of eternity, my noble friend.” We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
