Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI), in partnership with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), organized a two-day training workshop at the Ministry’s headquarters. This event was aimed at members of the National Network of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISC).

According to Qatar News Agency, the workshop’s objective was to improve participants’ skills in patent searching and emphasize the role of intellectual property information in fostering innovation and development. Experts from WIPO conducted specialized training sessions that covered topics such as formulating search strategies, utilizing classifications, and accessing international databases.

The initiative is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance the national innovation ecosystem and build the capabilities of national professionals in the field of intellectual property.
