Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced the launch of the first phase of an audit and oversight project focusing on the performance of healthcare personnel in private schools and kindergartens.
According to Qatar News Agency, this initiative is being conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Primary Health Care Corporation. The project has commenced with initial field visits, forming part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare quality and ensure student safety and well-being in educational institutions across Qatar.
The project aims to increase professional commitment among healthcare practitioners, evaluate the quality of healthcare services in private schools and kindergartens, and support healthcare staff towards best practices. It reflects the MoPH’s commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships and empowering experts to contribute to professional performance development, thereby improving health services within educational establishments.
The initiative ensures that health units within educational institutions comply with health and preventive standards to safeguard students’ health. Work on the project preparation began in the middle of last year, in collaboration with partners, with implementation mechanisms developed according to a four-year timeline.
