The head of the Yazidi Parliamentary Bloc, Nayef Khalaf Sido, expected the approval of the federal budget within 45 days.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: Parliament needs 45 days for the purpose of completing the federal budget, and this period includes hosting ministers and their advanced staff to discuss the budget of their ministries in the federal budget, since it is for three years.

Sido ruled out: returning the budget to the government because the government has dealt with all important issues in the budget, but the issue of the fiscal deficit and how to cover it remains, indicating that this issue will be dealt with by the Finance Committee with the government to ensure approval of a more stable budget.

On the imposition of taxes in the budget, he explained: with regard to increasing taxes and others, they will also be discussed and will be dealt with in the budget.

Parliament is scheduled to begin tomorrow, Wednesday, with the first reading of the federal budget for three years.
