Munitions Explosion Injures Three Lebanese Army Personnel

Beirut: Three members of the Lebanese army were injured due to the explosion of munitions left behind from the Israeli aggression in southern Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese army reported that an officer and two soldiers sustained minor injuries when unexploded ordnance from the Israeli occupation forces detonated while they were handling it for disposal in the Bint Jbeil area in southern Lebanon.

As part of its redeployment in towns and cities across the south under the ceasefire agreement, the Lebanese army is working to reopen roads, remove barricades, and deal with landmines and unexploded ordnance left from the recent Israeli assault on southern Lebanon.
