Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index 30 experienced an uptick on Sunday, closing at 5,093.62 points. This marks an increase of 11.8 points, or 0.23 percent, from the previous closing mark of 5,081.82 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading value for the day amounted to OMR 10,309,787, which represents a significant drop of 59.1 percent compared to the previous session’s trading value of OMR 25,195,480. Despite the decrease in trading value, the market value saw a rise of 0.118 percent, reaching approximately OMR 29.98 billion, as indicated by a report from MSX.
