The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, congratulated the Muslims in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the world, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, hoping that this holiday will bring with it “safety, joys and tranquility.”

Nechirvan Barzani called for taking the occasion as an opportunity for reconciliation, tolerance and absolving slander, and opening a new page of mutual respect, love and reconciliation.

On the political level, the President of the Kurdistan Region called on the political forces in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq to make Eid al-Fitr a new beginning for unity, cohesion, joint action and resolving differences.

The Sunni Endowment Office announced this evening that tomorrow, Friday, the first day of Shawwal and the first day of Eid al-Fitr for the Hijri year 1444. Also, the Ministry of Endowments of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced Friday, the first day of Eid al-Fitr in the Kurdistan region.
