Kurdish sources announced that Turkish bombing targeted sites in Jabal Gara on the borders of Dohuk Governorate, northern Iraq, without specifying the extent of the losses.

The Turkish forces, from time to time, carry out air and artillery bombardment of sites in the Kurdistan region, in northern Iraq. Turkish official sources say that these operations target members of the PKK and its sites, while the bombing has often resulted in killing and injuring many civilians and causing great material losses to farms and villages.
