Gaza City: Nine Palestinians were martyred and others injured Monday as a result of Israeli airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that six people were killed and several others injured when Israeli warplanes targeted a house in the Al Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Three Palestinians were also killed and others were injured, some critically, in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent housing displaced persons in the town of Al Zawayda, in the central Gaza Strip.

The sources noted that 46 people have been martyred as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn Monday, including 16 in Khan Yunis.

The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip on March 18, following a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on January 19. However, the occupation violated the terms of the ceasefire over the course of the two months, continuing its bombardment of various areas in the Gaza Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
