Muscat: Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held a phone call with his British counterpart, David Lammy, during which they discussed strategic cooperation between the two countries across various fields. The conversation underscored the significance of enhancing bilateral relations to address mutual interests.
According to Qatar News Agency, the two ministers also exchanged views on the Iranian nuclear file and explored ways to restore the diplomatic track and political negotiations to ensure sustained security and stability. They stressed the need to prevent escalation and conflict in the region.
Additionally, the ministers highlighted the importance of intensifying efforts to achieve a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, reflecting a shared commitment to peace and stability in the region.
