Doha: One person was killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported that an Israeli airstrike on the Musaylih area resulted in the death of one person and injuries to seven others.

Lebanon is urging the international community to exert pressure on Israel to halt its daily attacks, withdraw from all occupied territories in the south unconditionally, and release detainees.

A ceasefire deal was implemented in Lebanon on November 27 of the previous year, requiring Israeli forces to withdraw from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. Subsequently, the Lebanese government agreed to extend the deadline to February. Despite this, Israeli forces have retained their positions at five points, continuing their violations in the area.
