Islamabad: Pakistan’s Finance Minister, Muhammad Aurangzeb, met on Tuesday with the United Kingdom’s Minister of State for Development, Jennifer Chapman, during her visit to Pakistan, to discuss bilateral and economic issues.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions involved exchanging views on Pakistan’s efforts to achieve macroeconomic stability and the government’s commitment to structural reforms. These reforms include taxation, energy, state-owned enterprises, public financial management, and privatization.

Both officials reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the longstanding partnership between the two countries. They agreed to work closely to advance shared development priorities, indicating a mutual desire to strengthen economic cooperation.
