Palestinian Foreign Ministry Calls for International Pressure to Stop Israeli Aggression on Gaza

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for a firm international stance that compels the Israeli entity to stop its aggression against the Gaza Strip and open the crossings for medical supplies, food, fuel, and other basic necessities of life.

In a statement on Saturday, the ministry considered the Israeli entity’s refusal to allow the entry of aid, medical and food materials into the Strip as a flagrant violation of the rules of international law, the Geneva Conventions and international humanitarian law.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the calls and racist incitement campaigns launched by the ministers of the extreme right-wing occupation government, which calls for more killings and the restoration of the occupation of the Strip, and considered them an extension of an expansionist colonial mentality based on the policy of annexation and expansion at the expense of the land of the State of Palestine.

It expressed deep astonishment at the silence of the international community regarding these calls, warning of the dangers of Israel exploiting it to deepen and expand the aggression and commit more crimes against the Palestinian people.

The Israeli occupation continues to target the Gaza Strip and its residents, for the fifth day in a row, amid the closure of the crossings, which resulted in the death of 33 Palestinians and the injury of dozens.
