Ramallah: Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa discussed regional developments, particularly their repercussions on Palestine, in a phone call Tuesday with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, the Palestinian Prime Minister stressed that the regional escalation should not distract attention from the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem. He called for further international efforts to halt this aggression.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Mustafa highlighted the importance of advancing towards a serious, multilateral political process aimed at achieving a permanent solution that ends the occupation and establishes a Palestinian state.
