Palestinian Wounded by Occupation Forces, Others Arrested in West Bank

A Palestinian youth was wounded Monday by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in occupied Jerusalem, while 10 Palestinians from the West Bank were arrested.

Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a Palestinian youth, wounding him seriously.

In the meantime, the Israeli occupation navy arrested Monday four fishermen off the seashore of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip and confiscated two fishing boats.

The occupation forces also arrested two Palestinians from Bethlehem and Hebron and three others from Ramallah and Al-Bireh, while a freed prisoner was arrested from Tulkarem.

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces detained Sunday night ten Palestinians, most of them freed prisoners from Yabad town at a military checkpoint near Dayr Sharaf town, west of Nablus, for several hours, then released them.

On Sunday night, settlers stormed the village of Kifl Haris, north of Salfit, in the occupied West Bank, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, and attacked citizens’ homes and public property.

Local sources reported that dozens of settlers stormed the town and broke the windows of citizens’ homes and public property.

The Israeli occupation forces launch arrest and raid campaigns in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem on an almost daily basis, as part of their repressive practices against the Palestinian people.
