The Iraqi charge d’affaires left Sweden.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, said in a statement that “pursuant to the directives of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, and in implementation of the procedures that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working on in this regard, the Iraqi Chargé d’Affairs left the Kingdom of Sweden.”

Yesterday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad al-Sudani, directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to withdraw the Iraqi charge d’affaires in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, in response to the repeated permission of the Swedish government to burn the Holy Qur’an, insult Islamic sanctities, and burn the Iraqi flag.
