Police Academy Celebrates 6th Batch of Police College Cadets’ Training Course Graduation

Doha, – The Police Academy celebrated the 6th batch of Police College cadets’ completion of specialized “diving, paratrooper, and thunderbolt” training courses that ran from July 23 until October 26, in which 107 students participated.

The ceremony was attended by HE Legal Advisor to HE the Minister of Interior and the General Superintendent of the Police Academy Maj. Gen. Dr. Abdullah Yousef Al Mal, and Police Academy President Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Majid Al Sulaiti, along with a lineup of Ministry of Interior department directors and student parents.

On the occasion, Police Academy deputy president and Police College director general Lt. Col. Fahad Saeed Al Subaie said that with their strong determination, students were able to overcome the challenges of these difficult courses, which require high physical fitness and endurance. He noted that the advanced military training readied course graduates for practical life.

For his part, head of the military training department at the Police College Major Jassim Abdullah Al Khater highlighted that since its establishment, the Police College has set its programs in accordance with the latest regional and international standards, adding that the 6th batch passed the specialized courses perfectly in terms of physical and mental preparedness.

Al Khater pointed out that the thunderbolt course consisted of 450 training hours, the paratrooper course 160 hours, and the diving course consisted of 90 training hours, providing graduates with the necessary skills to be competent officers, armed with knowledge and practical training, benefiting them in their future work.

Legal Advisor to HE the Minister of Interior and the General Superintendent of the Police Academy Maj. Gen. Dr. Abdullah Yousef Al Mal presented graduates with badges and honored participating and supporting entities that contributed to the courses’ success.
