Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Russian troops with the liberation of the city of Artyomovsk from the Ukrainian forces and their mercenaries.

“Vladimir Putin congratulates Wagner assault teams as well as all Russian troops, who rendered the required assistance and shielded the flanks, with the completion of the operation to liberate Artyomovsk,” Novosti News Agency reported.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of city of Artyomovsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic in the course of the special military operation in Ukraine.
