Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway, Jonas Gahr Store. During the conversation, they addressed the ongoing military escalation in the region and its significant impact on both regional and international security and stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion also focused on peaceful resolutions to current disputes. HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs highlighted the necessity of halting Iranian attacks on Qatar and neighboring countries, warning of the consequences of targeting critical infrastructure, particularly those related to water, food, and energy.

His Excellency stressed the importance of reinforcing coordination and intensifying joint efforts. He called for a return to negotiations, advocating for solutions that prioritize reason and wisdom to ensure global energy security, freedom of navigation, environmental safety, and regional stability.
