Doha: HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, held talks on Wednesday with HE Harry Coker Jr, the US state of Maryland’s Secretary of Commerce, who is visiting Doha with an accompanying business delegation. The meeting focused on bilateral trade and investment relations, exploring ways to enhance cooperation across multiple sectors, and addressing issues of mutual interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, both sides highlighted Qatar’s recent trade and investment policies aimed at supporting the private sector. Discussions included Qatar’s incentives, legislative reforms, and attractive investment opportunities for international businesses, which are encouraging investors and entrepreneurs to expand into the Qatari market.
