Lima: The third round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Peru was held in Lima on Thursday. The discussions were headed by HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi for Qatar, and HE Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, John Peter Cannock, for Peru. The focus was on the relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, along with issues of common interest.
According to Qatar News Agency, a cooperation agreement was also signed during the consultations. The agreement was made between the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar and the Diplomatic Academy of Peru. HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi signed the agreement on behalf of Qatar, while HE Ambassador Julio Garro Galvez, Director of the Diplomatic Academy, signed on behalf of Peru.
