Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed its vehement condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a mosque in El Fasher city in the sisterly Republic of Sudan, which resulted in fatalities and injuries.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered the bombing of this mosque a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, stressing the State of Qatar’s rejection of attacks on places of worship and the terrorizing of civilians.
The Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar’s unwavering position in rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of motives or reasons.
It extended the State of Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of the Republic of Sudan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
