Kuwait City: The State of Qatar participated in the regular and consultative meetings of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministerial Council during its 164th session, held in the State of Kuwait. His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani led Qatar’s delegation to these crucial meetings.

According to Qatar News Agency, the regular session focused on reviewing the implementation of decisions made during the 45th summit of the GCC Supreme Council, which took place in Kuwait City in December 2024. The discussions addressed various memoranda and reports presented by ministerial and technical committees and the General Secretariat. The meetings also explored topics related to dialogues and strategic relations, including free trade agreements between GCC countries and other nations and international blocs.

Additionally, the participants exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, aiming to strengthen collaboration and address shared challenges within the region.
