Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Thursday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) are as follows.
According to Qatar News Agency, the rates for USD deposits are set at 4.17390% for one month, 4.11613% for two months, 4.05836% for three months, 3.87890% for six months, and 3.61713% for twelve months. For Japanese Yen (JPY), the rates are 0.40000% for one and two months, and 0.45000% for three and six months, rising slightly to 0.55000% for twelve months.
The Swiss Franc (CHF) deposit rates show slight negative values with -0.01000% for one month, -0.13000% for both two and three months, and a marginal increase to -0.06000% for six months before turning positive at 0.07000% for twelve months. Meanwhile, the British Pound (GBP) rates are 3.91000% for one month, 4.03000% for two months, 4.02000% for three months, 4.12000% for six months, and 4.18000% for twelve months.
In terms of local and regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) rates are set at 4.82500% for one month, 4.77500% for two months, 4.72500% for three months, 4.50000% for six months, and 4.42500% for twelve months. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) rates are 4.90000% for one month, 5.00000% for two months, 5.10000% for both three and six months, and 5.05000% for twelve months.
For the UAE Dirham (AED), the deposit rates are at 2.05000% for one month, increasing to 2.15000% for two months, 2.40000% for three months, 2.85000% for six months, and 3.15000% for twelve months. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) rates are at 5.30000% for one month, 4.78000% for two months, 4.72000% for three months, 4.64000% for six months, and 4.62000% for twelve months.
