Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) released its latest deposit rates on Wednesday, showcasing varying interest rates across a range of currencies, including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD start at 4.32114% for one month, gradually decreasing to 3.96353% for a twelve-month deposit. In contrast, JPY deposit rates show a distinctive trend, beginning at 0.35000% for one month and slightly increasing to 0.55000% for twelve months. Meanwhile, CHF deposit rates remain negative for shorter terms, with a slight positive shift to 0.01000% for a twelve-month deposit.
For the GBP, the rates start at 4.18000% for a one-month deposit and peak at 4.32000% for three months before slightly adjusting to 4.21000% for a twelve-month deposit. In regional currencies, QAR deposit rates begin at 4.85000% for one month, declining to 4.50000% for a twelve-month deposit. SAR and AED rates also display a gradual decrease over the same period, while BHD rates remain stable for shorter terms, reducing slightly for a twelve-month term.
