Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Thursday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been announced, detailing the specific rates for several international currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.

According to Qatar News Agency, the USD deposit rates for different durations range from 4.07888 for 1 month to 3.59782 for 12 months. The JPY rates remain consistent at 0.40000 for 1, 2, and 3 months, increasing slightly to 0.50000 for 6 months and 0.80000 for 12 months. For CHF, the rates are negative, starting at -0.18000 for 1 month and adjusting to -0.03000 for 12 months. The GBP rates start at 3.92000 for 1 month and peak at 4.08000 for 6 months before slightly decreasing to 4.07000 for 12 months.

In the local and regional currencies, the QAR rates begin at 4.60000 for 1 month and decline to 4.02500 for 12 months. The SAR rates are constant at 5.00000 for most durations except for 12 months, which is slightly lower at 4.95000. The AED starts at 2.05000 for 1 month, increasing to 3.15000 for 12 months. BHD rates are consistent at 4.75000 for most durations, with a decrease to 4.25000 for 12 months.
