Qatar National Bank Releases Updated Deposit Rates Across Currencies

Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has announced its latest deposit rates for various currencies, effective as of Sunday. The updated rates cover multiple tenures ranging from one month to twelve months for several major currencies.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD start at 4.31370% for a one-month term and gradually decrease to 4.00348% for a twelve-month term. For the Japanese Yen (JPY), rates begin at 0.30000% for a one-month deposit and increase to 0.60000% for a twelve-month deposit. Swiss Franc (CHF) deposit rates are consistently negative, starting at -0.18000% for a one-month term, rising slightly, and ending at -0.10000% for a twelve-month deposit. British Pound (GBP) rates start at 4.26000% for a one-month period and settle at 4.15000% for a twelve-month commitment.

For local and regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) deposit rates are highest at 4.85000% for a one-month deposit, reducing to 4.50000% for a twelve-month term. Saudi Riyal (SAR) rates show an initial high of 4.90000% for a one-month deposit, with a slight decrease to 5.05000% for a twelve-month period. The UAE Dirham (AED) rates start at 2.05000% for one month and rise to 3.15000% for a year-long deposit. Bahraini Dinar (BHD) rates are highest at 5.36000% for a one-month term and decrease to 4.71000% for a twelve-month deposit.
