Riyadh: The State of Qatar is participating in the International Conference of Heads of Civil Defense Agencies organized by the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) in partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from May 6 to 9, 2024 in Riyadh. Qatar's delegation is headed by Director of the Operations Department at the General Directorate of Civil Defense Lt. Col. Khaled Nasser Al Otaibi. The conference will exchange experiences in civil defense systems and disaster risk management, and its agenda will include a presentation on crowd management, the Hajj situation, and the regional strategy of the ICDO.
