Riyadh: The State of Qatar is participating with 25 unique artifacts in the eighth Joint Archaeological Exhibition of the Arab Gulf States at the National Museum in Riyadh. This Qatari participation comes within the framework of deepening cultural cooperation among the Gulf Arab states.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar Museums carefully selected the artifacts and collections to highlight the shared cultural heritage. These items cover key historical periods, including the Stone Age, the Bronze Age, the first millennium BC, and the Islamic era.
The exhibition, which continues until Dec. 30, 2025, aims to showcase the cultural unity and diversity of the Arabian Gulf region over thousands of years. This participation underscores the importance of cooperation among the Gulf states to support archaeological studies and present unified historical narratives that connect the peoples of the region.
