Qatar Showcases Charitable Efforts at International Non-Profit Exhibition

Riyadh: The State of Qatar’s Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) is actively participating in the International Exhibition for the Non-Profit Sector (IENA) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The RACA pavilion is highlighting its achievements and initiatives in regulating charitable and humanitarian activities within Qatar.

According to Qatar News Agency, RACA General Manager Ibrahim Abdullah Al Dehaimi attended the exhibition’s opening ceremony, alongside officials and experts in the non-profit sector from around the globe. The pavilion has attracted visitors and stakeholders interested in learning about RACA’s role in developing the legislative and regulatory framework for charitable work in Qatar. This includes its contributions to enhancing transparency, governance, and institutional empowerment of humanitarian entities.

High-profile visitors to the RACA pavilion included Sheikh Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Humanitarian Funds of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and Mohammed bin Hassan Al Obaidli, Director-General of the Executive Office of the GCC Council of Ministers of Labor and Social Affairs. Both dignitaries were informed about RACA’s efforts and organizational projects aimed at supporting and institutionalizing charitable practices in line with international standards.

RACA’s involvement in this significant regional event underscores its commitment to exchanging expertise and strengthening partnerships with regional and international entities. This collaboration aims to support sustainable development goals and empower the charitable sector to accomplish its humanitarian objectives.
