DOHA- The Qatar Winter Sports Committee (QWSC) is organizing a summer training camp for the Qatari national Short Track Speed Skating teams from July 19 to August 01, 2022 at Villaggio Shopping mall.

The training camp features the participation of 40 junior athletes (boys and girls).

The camp aims to prepare the Qatar national teams for the ISU Short Track Speed Skating Championships to be held in December 2022 as it will provide the QWSC with the opportunity to select the talented players to join the national teams.

The training camp comes in light of the QWSC strategy to develop this type of winter sports in the state of Qatar to enable the Qatar national teams to participate in the international championships, with a special focus on junior age groups which are the future of this sport.
