German political and economic consultant, Journalist and Middle East specialist, Michael Luders told QNA that HH the Amirs visit earns a special significance at a time when the region and the world are going through political transformations. He added that Qatar is a preeminent geopolitical player, not only in the Middle East, but on the global stage as well, and from there the significance of this visit emerges to promote dialogue and cooperation between Qatar and Germany, said Luders.

Luders affirmed that as long as the relations between the two countries have been good in multiple fields, Germany strives to largely capitalize on Qatars expertise in the area of diplomacy, because Qatar has succeeded in imposing itself as a reliable mediator in times of crises.
