English newspaper, The Peninsula, said the relationship between Qatar and Canada has grown significantly in recent years marked by cooperation in various sectors.

In its editorial entitled “Multifaceted Relationship,” The Peninsula said that Qatar plays an increasingly important role in global diplomacy, and Canada sees Qatar as a strategic partner in the Middle East, especially for promoting regional peace and security.

The relationship between Qatar and Canada is multifaceted, spanning diplomacy, trade, education, healthcare, technology, and environmental initiatives. Both nations have demonstrated a shared commitment to addressing global challenges, fostering economic growth, and enhancing cultural exchanges, the paper added.

The dynamic nature of this relationship, supported by shared values and strategic goals, ensures that Qatar and Canada will remain important partners on the global stage for years to come, The Peninsula concluded.

Under the headline “Brutal Israeli Escalation,” Al-Watan warned of
the Israeli entitys gradual escalation of its attacks on Lebanon, considering that the criminal bombings that targeted communication devices, and the unprecedented brutal bombing that southern Lebanon is currently being subjected to, confirm that the Israeli entity is continuing with its destructive plan, unless there is a clear and decisive position from the international community, through the Security Council.

Al-Watan noted that the United States is able to exert effective pressure, not only to prevent a possible war in Lebanon, but also to push for an acceptable agreement on the Gaza Strip that allows for a comprehensive calm on all fronts.
