Doha: The State of Qatar participated in the 43rd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, held Wednesday via videoconference. HE Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani led the State of Qatar's delegation participating in the session.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani emphasized the complex security conditions faced by the State of Qatar and other regional countries due to the ongoing war and Iranian aggression. These challenges have increased the responsibilities of security agencies, which have been working diligently to maintain public security and address threats effectively.
His Excellency mentioned that the current regional and international dynamics require Arab countries to enhance joint security cooperation, improve information exchange, and initiate training programs to address contemporary threats. He highlighted the need for heightened security coordination to protect national achievements and the security of Arab nations.
Furthermore, His Excellency reiterated Qatar's commitment to supporting initiatives that bolster joint Arab action. The meeting also included discussions among participants on various security issues, challenges facing Arab nations, and ways to improve cooperation among Arab security agencies. The officials reviewed past recommendations and outcomes from joint meetings with Arab and international organizations to advance security collaboration.
