QC Inaugurates Several Development Projects in Kosovo.

PRISTINA: Qatar Charity (QC) has inaugurated several development projects in the Republic of Kosovo during a visit by a delegation from QC, led by CEO Yousef bin Ahmed Al Kuwari. The event was attended by HE non-resident Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Kosovo, Jabor bin Ali Al Dosari, along with various government officials in Kosovo.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti met with the QC delegation, where he praised QC’s contributions to Kosovo over the past 25 years. The inauguration included several key projects such as the Doha Emergency Medical Center in Podujeve, the Qatar Residential Complex, the Qatar Islamic Center, the Water Project, the Al Yafei Health Center, and a mosque.

The Doha Emergency Medical Center was inaugurated by the CEO of QC in the presence of prominent figures including HE the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Saranda Bogujevci, Kosovo’s Minister of Health Arben Vitia, and HE Ambassador of the State of Q
atar to Kosovo, Jabor bin Ali Al Dosari. The center is designed to manage emergency cases and provide comprehensive medical services, benefiting approximately 80,000 individuals.

HE Prime Minister Albin Kurti emphasized the strategic importance of the emergency center and extended his gratitude to the State of Qatar for their continued support in various sectors. The center’s strategic location will enable it to offer a range of medical services, including primary healthcare.

HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Kosovo noted that the projects signify the strong relations between Qatar and Kosovo and demonstrate Qatar’s commitment to supporting development and health initiatives that contribute to the stability and prosperity of the Kosovo community.

The development projects also include the construction of a central mosque, the headquarters of the Islamic Sheikhdom of Kosovo, a multi-purpose hall, and waqf stores, which will serve around 20,000 people by providing cultural, educational, and social se
rvices.

Additionally, QC inaugurated The Qatar Residential Complex in the Frasher area, aimed at addressing slum housing and providing essential services to low-income families. The complex spans 33,000 square meters and comprises 40 houses and a school, benefiting over 10,000 people.
