Gaza: The Israeli occupation army has continued its offensive in the northern Gaza Strip governorate for the 32nd day, thereby worsening the livelihoods of the people amid a lack of humanitarian services due to the ongoing bombardment.
According to Qatar News Agency, the plight of the Palestinian residents, against whom the Israeli occupation army is committing bloody massacres in the northern enclave, is deteriorating due to the lack of medical services to save the lives of the injured and evacuate the martyrs. As a result, they are compelled to perform medical functions without any necessary assistance.
The Israeli occupation army committed massacres in this area overnight, bombarding two residential homes in Beit Lahiya, which resulted in the martyrdom of 25 people, including 13 children, according to the latest figures announced by the Palestinian Ministry of Health on Tuesday.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency, a member of one of the martyr’s families stated that she could not find a single shroud to cove
r the martyrs and had to use small pieces of nylon, typically used in agricultural fields, because shrouds were depleted in the hospitals of northern Gaza. She emphasized that half of the victims were children and were buried in mass graves.
With this tragic situation unfolding in northern Gaza, Kamal Adwan Hospital has recently issued an appeal to be supplied with shrouds. However, the siege imposed by the Israeli occupation forces prevented that.
Since Oct. 3, the Israeli occupation army has assaulted civil defense personnel in northern Gaza, impounded their vehicles, displaced most of their personnel from the governorate, and arrested several of them.
Spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defense agency, Mahmoud Bassal, said that work has been forcefully disrupted in all areas throughout northern Gaza due to the ongoing Israeli onslaught, with thousands of residents in these areas left without humanitarian and medical care.
Bassal added that the Israeli occupation forces prevented the ambulance from moving to
rescue the injured Palestinians due to the continuous aerial and artillery shelling, which has compounded the tragic situation in the enclave.
The Israeli occupation forces intentionally set the ambulance inside Kamal Adwan Hospital on fire, preventing the transfer of the wounded to hospitals. As a result, dozens of Palestinians succumbed to their injuries, as no one was able to transport them to the hospital, said Bassal.
An official casualty figure revealed that 1,800 people have been killed and over 4,000 injured since the siege of northern Gaza.
The Israeli occupation forces resumed their artillery shelling of Kamal Adwan Hospital, directly striking its sections and injuring some children.
