Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased at the end of trading on Thursday, by 153.21 points, or 1.54 percent, to close at 9,801.75 points.

During today's session, 169,335,247 shares were traded, with a value of QR 480,504,445.294, as a result of implementing 18,749 transactions in all sectors.

The shares of 7 companies rose during the session, and the prices of 38 other companies fell, while four companies maintained their previous closing prices.

At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization amounted to QR 578,541,777,122.410, compared to QR 587,108,835,120.720 in the previous session.
