Doha: The QSE general index closed Thursday’s trading session higher, marking an increase of 16.05 points, or 0.14 percent, closing at 11,093.12 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session recorded a total of 97,713,364 shares being traded, amounting to a value of QAR 295,680,940.055, across 17,943 transactions spanning all sectors. The trading activity saw the share prices of 19 companies rise, while 28 companies experienced a decline in their share prices. Meanwhile, five companies maintained their previous closing prices.

The market capitalization at the end of the trading session reached QAR 662,592,262,902.876, compared to QAR 661,327,553,976.345 in the previous session, indicating a growth in the overall market value.
