Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index edged up by 0.01% at the start of trading on Monday, gaining 1.58 points to reach 10,753, compared to the previous session’s close.
According to Qatar News Agency, gains were recorded in the Telecoms sector, which rose 0.32%, and the Industrials sector, which added 0.05%. On the other hand, declines were seen in the Banks and Financial Services sector, dropping by 0.05%, Real Estate by 0.17%, Goods and Services by 0.26%, and Insurance by 0.34%. The Transportation sector remained stable with no change.
As of 10:00 am, the QSE recorded a trading volume of 20.797 million shares, with a total turnover of QR 57.128 million across 2,490 transactions.
